Fall at Shakertown

One of my favorite places in Kentucky is Shakertown (Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill). It’s very peaceful and I love the old buildings and furniture. Fall is an especially beautiful time  and my images don’t do it justice. I learned several years ago that late afternoon is a great time to photograph; interesting shadows and the sun is a wonderful shade of orange. The leaves will be gone in less than a week so today was a perfect day to make the short trek.
